There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The School of Biology at Georgia Tech hosted a workshop on Computational Genomics & Transcriptomics from Dec 6th-Dec 10th. The workshop brought together students and faculty from Colombia with Tech's own Biology and Bioinformatics students and faculty to engage on a pair of specific projects in Genomics & Transcriptomics. The workshop had a hybrid model with faculty and student talks in the mornings followed by student- run bioinformatics tutorials and lab sessions in the afternoons (Mon â" Thu). Friday featured a keynote address by Dr. Mark Borodovsky and a Bioinformatics student poster session.
