The School of Biology is proud to announce the VWR Distinguished Seminar in Experimental Biology for the 2010-11 academic year. Dr. Bonnie Bassler is a Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator and Professor in the Department of Molecular Biology at Princeton University, a member of the National Academy of Sciences, and a recipient of the MacArthur Foundation "Genius Award". The talk is entitled "Manipulating Quorum Sensing to Control Bacterial Pathogenicity".
